Video: Suspect Sought In Connection To Early Morning Armed Robbery, Stolen Auto In DC

D.C. police seek to identify the suspect in a armed robbery on Wednesday, August 10.

The Metropolitan Police Department seeks the public's assistance in identifying two persons of interest in reference to an Armed Robbery (Gun)/Theft I (Stolen Auto) incident which occurred in the 5000 block of D Street, SE, on Wednesday, Aug. 10.

At approximately 1:00 a.m., the suspect approached the victims in the 5000 block of D Street, showed them he was armed, and demanded property from one of the victims, according to the Metropolitan Police Department.

Police said the victim gave over their property and the suspect fled the scene.

Law enforcement released a video of the suspect in the hope that the public can assist in identifying him.

Anyone with information about the suspect's identity or whereabouts should contact police at 202- 727-9099 and would be eligible for a $10,000 reward.
